Brian Lassiter joined ASM Research in 2001 as Controller and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2010. He is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. Mr. Lassiter serves as a member of the company’s senior management team with all activities and tasks assigned and prioritized by the EVP.
Brian’s key contributions include an improved budget processed, well-managed indirect rates, overseeing the financial side of the ASM ESOP sale to Accenture Federal Services, and maintaining a clean audit record with DCAA. As a natural problem solver, Mr. Lassiter has implemented new technologies, automation tools, and process improvements to help ASM contend with its continued growth.
Brian’s educational credentials include a B.S. in Computer Science from George Mason University. Mr. Lassiter also earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the College of William & Mary. He has also continued his education by attending the Harvard Business School Executive Education- Leadership for Senior Executives. Mr. Lassiter was named CFO ‘Rising Star’ of the year by Washington Business Journal in 2012.
