With New Work, ASM Strengthens Partnership with VA

Fairfax, VA – October 1, 2009
ASM Research, Inc. added to its recent string of victories with an exciting win in the Veteran Administration (VA). Teaming with Sygnetics, Inc., a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, ASM was awarded a contract to provide Requirements Specifications and Decision Support for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and the Readjustment Counseling Service (RCS) Vet Centers.

This project is a decision-making analysis for VHA and RCS to determine whether it is effective for them to buy an electronic record management system to keep track of client use of VHA services or to develop that record within their existing capabilities. To help in reaching this decision, ASM will provide a methodology to conduct the decision-making process to determine the means and requirements for an electronic record.

George Nebeling, Senior Vice President/General Manager, ASM Health Solutions Group said, “Supporting our Veterans and making healthcare more available and effective is our highest aspiration at ASM.”

“What we’ve done is proposed a process based on our experience with all our customers in the past, and our underlining support and commitment to the VA and ultimately to Veterans,” said Rob Levy, the ASM PM for this project. “This is work near and dear to Veterans like myself at ASM.”
