ASM Secures New Business with Department of Homeland Security Fairfax, VA – September 30, 2009 ASM Research, Inc. has expanded its customer base to include the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with its winning bid on the contract for the Career Acquisition Program (CAP), Training, Registration, Certification and Tracking System. ASM will provide DHS with a solution to manage their career acquisition workforce. “The Department of Homeland Security is a new client for us. It’s very exciting,” said John Fraser, ASM’s Senior VP. “But, while it is a new client, we are bringing a proven solution that we have delivered in other Federal agencies that have similar problems. We feel that DHS will get great value, great service, and a solution that will meet or exceed their goals and objectives.” ASM is leveraging not only its experience within the ATRRS environment, in which the new product will be hosted, but also its expertise and ability to deliver the application quickly. “The Department of Homeland Security has seen that we can do the work,” Fraser said. Mark Avey, Program Manager for DHS CAP, says that our capabilities to provide the solutions need is spreading fast within the federal government. He believes this is the first of many steps toward new business in the Federal Government. “Until recently, our main focus has been inside the Department of Defense, and this is a key contract which breaks that barrier of DoD only and now providing quality services to other Federal agencies.” ASM has been involved in acquisition workforce planning, programming, training, certification, and continuous learning for over a decade. ASM will continue to bring the same extraordinary commitment leading to extraordinary results for DHS.
