ASM Research Presents Maude Charity Contribution at the Adjutant General’s Corps Regimental Ball

Springfield, VA - May 31, 2008

The 233rd Anniversary Adjutant General’s Corps Regimental Ball was held at Waterford Receptions in Springfield, Virginia, Saturday, 31 May 2008. The annual ball celebrates the act of congressional resolve, which appointed the first Adjutant General, Horatio Gates, the father of the Corps, in June 1775. The ball also serves to recognize the long and prestigious history of the Corps, whose members continue to dedicate themselves today to the Corps’ motto, “Defend and Serve”. As a corporate sponsor of the event, ASM Research demonstrated its continued commitment to supporting those who “Defend and Serve” the United States worldwide in all military capacities.

A follow-up ceremony for the Tim Maude Foundation Charity Memorial Golf Tournament was held at the Regimental Ball in order to present Mrs. Teri Maude with the proceeds of the tournament. As the Master Sponsor, ASM Research sent six members of its senior leadership to represent the company, and the other sponsors of the tournament, in presenting the $20,000 contribution to the Tim Maude Foundation on behalf of The Potomac Chapter. The Foundation uses these funds to finance Soldiers’ educational pursuits, and in doing so, carries on Lieutenant General Tim Maude’s legacy of taking care of the individual Soldiers comprising America’s Army.

ASM Research’s senior leadership attending the Regimental Ball included, from left to right, David Hart, Paul Zerkow, John Fraser, Robert Bullard, William Kelly, and Richard LaCroix.
