ASM Research, Inc., Fairfax, VA (ASM) – ASM Research is proud to announce it was the Master Sponsor of the Tim Maude Foundation Charity Golf Tournament, held April 25th, 2008 on the Andrews Air Force Base East and South Courses. 11 ASM employees participated in this year’s tournament in addition to ASM’s corporate sponsorship. Proceeds from this year’s tournament – double that of last year’s -- will be formally presented to LTG Maude’s widow, Mrs. Teri Maude, at this year’s Adjutant General Corps Regimental Association Ball to be held on May 31st at the Waterford Reception Center in Springfield, VA. As the master sponsor for the tournament, ASM Research will also have employees attending the AG to represent the company.

This year’s Tim Maude Foundation Charity Golf Tournament marked the 7th year for the tournament. The tournament is held in honor of Lieutenant General Timothy J. Maude, who lost his life in the attack on the Pentagon on September 11th, 2001.

Executive Vice President Tim Lassiter, senior ASM leader participating in the tournament, had the opportunity to share a photo op with Mrs. Teri Maude following the tournament. “What a tremendous opportunity this was to gather and remember LTG Maude, all he stood for and all Foundation continues to do to help Soldiers in his memory. “

The Maude Foundation was established to preserve the legacy of LTG Maude by providing educational support to former, current and future soldiers in America’s Army. The foundation currently provides financial support for soldiers in the Army’s Green to Gold program and plans on expanding support to future soldiers at Fishburn Military Academy, current soldiers at Marian College and Ball State University, and former soldiers seeking additional training for civilian careers. Additionally, The Maude Foundation recently began hosting the Maude Leadership Lecture Series at the Soldier Support Institute at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.
